Parent and toddler group leader

We are a growing school in the heart of Exeter, Devon. We currently have six parent and toddler groups, kindergarten and classes 1 to 3. We have a vacancy for September 2010 for a parent and toddler group leader. You will be part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team with exceptional community support. You will be responsible for organizing and holding the group three days a week and creating a homely environment for the families.

Knowledge of Steiner early years education is essential and previous experience an advantage for this part-time post.

Trustees

As a trustee, you would hold ultimate responsibility for the charity, supporting and monitoring
those involved in the day-to-day running of the School. We are currently reviewing our management structure and as a trustee you would be part of that process. Trustees currently meet once a fortnight during term time, but that is expected to decrease when the new structure is in place.

Applications for these volunteer positions will be considered as received, with a view to appointing suitable candidates immediately. We would particularly welcome someone with previous experience of governance, school administration and HR or financial management.
